Americas Resources (AR) is a Systems and Technology Integration company founded in 1998. We provide world-class products and services to the private and public sectors. RFID Solution for the Mexican Vehicle Public Registry tested succesful

Americas Resources was invited by the Technical Team in charge of evaluation the RFID technology to be used in the Vehicle Public Registry of Mexico.
The project is headed by the Public Security Department which in turn put together an evaluation team integrated by researchers from public and private universities (UNAM, IPN and ITESM)
Americas Resources in joint venture with Cosmocolor (AR-Cosmocolor) presented one of its Vehicle Control technologies as an alternative for the project. The RFID tags applied to the vehicle winshields and motorcycles were read at over 160 Km/h with a 100% success rate.

Handheld computer deployment for Secure Vehicle Resgistration (SVR)

In 2005 alone, more than 100 portable RFID reader devices were successfully deployed throughout Mexico, with great success. These were implemented using AR's SVR solution. The “Jett RFID” from Two Technologies Inc. and the “Silver Jet” from Datalogic were chosen for this program and are fully operational in the field today, providing excellent results.
